Lush Lip Scrub...

This is one of my favourite skincare products, but it's one those things that kind of get overlooked. I use this every night and have done for the best part of a year since i picked this up and have barely even used half of the product.

Lush is classically a brand i really enjoy for skincare products and although the flavours and scents are a bit hit and miss for me personally, i have genuinely never found any lip product that i enjoy quite as much as this. And it works so so well. These Lip scrubs are something that i know people like me who love a matte lipstick need in their lives. They work wonders in terms of lip resurfacing and getting rid of any dry flakes without it hurting or leaving a nasty residue on the lips. The actual 'scrub' tastes really nice, which although i know your not supposed to love a lip product for as your not actually supposed to eat it, but at the end of the day, if it's going on your lips, you don't want it to taste bad. I believe there are other flavours of this, but i can tell you for a fact this one is sweet and tasty without being overpowering or tasting bitter. It also doesn't taste false, like it doesn't taste chemically or unnatural, which again is something highly appreciated in a lip product. Mine tastes a lot like mint chocolate which i must admit i really enjoy.

The scrub is not too harsh, it lasts a few moments on the lips and as you rub them together, it gently dissolves to leave your lips feeling smooth and comfortable and it means they are in much better condition to be able to apply a lip product, even if it one of those that extenuates flaws.  You also don't need a lot, a little goes a long way with this product and i just put a light dusting of this on my lips, rub them together for a couple of seconds until the crystals melt then pop a lip balm on and i'm good to go. And it's just the right amount of 'scrub'. It's not too harsh that it leaves my lips raw but its not too light that it does nothing. I have definitely seen a difference in my lip texture over time and i use this once or twice a day, sometimes more if my lips are taking a bit of a beating. This really seems to do something pretty great for my lips and it's just a staple in my makeup bag now.

I've also had this one for a really, really long time and although i was a little worried about the price at the time of buying it, i do not regret it in the slightest as it works really well and lasts such a long time.

And that's it really, there is not a lot to say about lip scrubs. I'd 100% repurchase this when it runs out, and they are definitely worth a look next time your in lush as they are really good quality for money. If your in the market for a really good lip scrub that does exactly what it says on the tin, this is the one i'd go for!

Thanks for reading,
Jo x
